The Usual Loophole
A nicer club in the Downtown area of Seattle. Named after it’s owner, Maxi “Loophole” Carson conned it’s previous owners out of it with some tricky legal work. Rumor claims that there have been several attempts on his life due to the enemies his crafty legal maneuvering has made, but he doesn’t have so much as a scar to show for it. The story goes that Loophole Carson sought to make a deal with the devil, but was so disappointed by the contract’s fine print that he offered to tutor the devil in modern law. The joke’s ending has a number of variants, all of them resulting in the devil getting conned in one way or another.
The club has a balanced selection of recent hits and old classics playing across its dance floor and a bar with enough variety to tailor drinks to almost all tastes. One of the club’s most notable features is its variety of fancy back rooms, installed by Loophole to allow all number of business deals to take place away from prying eyes, making The Usual Loophole a popular spot both for more casual shadowrunners and legitimate businessmen alike. Loophole Carson also offers his services as a legal consultant, and rest assured he can do amazing things for whatever document you have him look at. That said, few people ever turn to him for consultation as nobody with any sense would ever sign the contract needed to hire him.
